Hydrogen provides a practical, scalable solution to decarbonise existing industries that currently depend on fossil fuels. Neo Environmental are currently working on Hydrogen electrolyser projects co-located with renewable energy developments (green hydrogen) in the UK and Ireland. These electrolyser projects use electrolysis of water via a simple procedure (passing an electric current through water) to produce hydrogen.

There has been significant progress in the use of hydrogen as a fuel in recent years. It is deemed the most efficient fuel with the highest combustion energy per Kg and offers 2-3 times more energy than other common fuels.
