Neo Environmental have submitted a planning application for the repowering of a wind farm on the East coast of England. The new application will see a reduction in the number of wind turbines on the site, which are being replaced by other more efficient turbines of a similar scale and design. The original wind farm has been in operation since the early 90’s and proves the sustainable nature of these wind energy generators. The UK has 82 wind farms which began operating between 1992 and 2004.
