Neo has begun 2014 with a string of consents for small wind turbines around Britain. The consent rate for the year stands at 100% and goes to show that our policy of carrying out feasibility work prior to commencing with the full application is proving successful.

Successful consents in 2014 include:

• 1 x 20kW turbine in Pembrokeshire, Wales

• 3 x 20kW turbine in Conwy, Wales

• 1 x 50kW turbine in Carmarthenshire, Wales

• 1 x 60 kW turbine in Fife, Scotland

• 2 x 15kW turbines in Northumberland, England

• 2 x 11kW turbines in Scottish Borders, Scotland

On top of this Neo have provided work on an ad hoc basis to support the consents of numerous other small wind turbine applications. This work has included Cumulative Noise Impact Assessments, Photomontages, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and Ecological Assessments (desk based as well as on site).
