Neo Environmental’s archaeology and heritage unit have been extremely busy undertaking programs of archaeological testing and historic building surveys for road, housing and solar projects across the UK over the past month. It is a busy time for all developers, trying to discharge conditions and attain consents for projects prior to the Christmas break.

Our archaeologists have been busy working in Loch Lomond (A82 road project), East Lothian (Historic Building survey), Lincolnshire, Canterbury and Shropshire (solar farm trial trenching and excavations). All projects have been completed in time and within budget. The team have also been extremely busy completing Heritage Impact Assessments for numerous solar, wind and residential developments across Scotland, England Wales and Northern Ireland.

Our heritage team have now also moved into a new office in the Wright Business Centre next door to the rest of the team!
