Article: New Project Work
Date: February 4, 2016
Neo Environmental has had a successful start to 2016 with work commissioned for some new development types. Working on behalf of Ferguson Planning, Neo Environmental will be undertaking the Archaeology, Ecology and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for a mixed use development located within Edinburgh City Council. The proposed development will comprise of approximately 300 residential units and a number of associated commercial units.
Our staff have also completed work in support of a planning application for a large Crematorium in Stirlingshire, including the full LVIA and 3D visuals. The company has now completed EIA and non-EIA environmental and technical assessments for various development types across the whole of the UK and Ireland, with 3 quarries in the west of Ireland, dozens of residential developments in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland as well as utility projects, commercial developments and over 450MW of renewables throughout all these areas.
We have completed work on numerous infrastructural projects including the A82 road project in Scotland. Our ecology team are currently clerks of works for McLaughlin and Harvey on the 1km Leith Flood defence scheme. See our heritage and ecology section of this newsletter for more details on their current projects.
The uptake of new projects and enquiries for our services in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland has been extremely positive of late and we have been adding new staff to our expanding teams in the Belfast and Naas offices.
